The H.J. Heinz campus offers a gamut of services for veterans, including transitional care, rehabilitation, and dementia and hospice care beds. The community provides numerous administrative departments including human resources, business service, contracting, fiscal and medical records.
GovSolutions provided furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) for the H.J. Heinz, VA Cares Project in Pittsburgh, PA. This project consisted of multiple manufacturers and a total of 8 buildings for this $50 million construction project. In the mental health facility, govSolutions was responsible for the community center, cafeteria, patient counseling rooms, and 96 individual patient rooms. Each suite was personalized with varying finishes to promote the patient’s recovery and transition. govSolutions was also responsible for 350 systems workstations and 50 private exam rooms to include custom casework. Included in the scope of work was the construction of scaffolding for a 100-ft high ceiling artwork installation.
