GovSolutions, Inc. acted as the contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision to perform the work at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center Emergency Department. The work included selective demolition of the designated space and renovation of the space for clinical use. The contractor was responsible for constructing new walls, doors, ceiling, floor finishes, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, nurse call system, fire alarm system, med gas systems and all equipment as identified on the construction documents.
This renovation took the existing Emergency Department (ED) and reception areas and added 3,000 square feet of space for two life-support rooms, four fast track rooms, two triage rooms, future radiology room, patient and staff bathrooms, staff break room and storage area.
